Inspector Prickle Murder Mysteries
Gwyn Guy was born in Harrow, Middlesex, England of Welsh parents, both of whom were teachers. He moved to Watford, Hertfordshire in his early teens and then to Suffolk in his early twenties. Here he owned a garage in partnership with his father and expanded the business into the leisure and camping field.

After the collapse of this business, Gwyn started working for Suffolk County Council Social Services Department as an instructor in woodwork with adults who had a learning disability. He trained and qualified as a teacher of adults and went on to manage a centre that provided day time activities for adults with disabilities.

Gwyn Guy

It was in his last few years of working for Suffolk Social Care that he started writing, initially, for the local amateur dramatic society of which he was a non-acting member. It was when Eyes Write was formed to promote new writers that his first Inspector Prickle Mystery was taken to stage.

Gwyn has three children from his first marriage and two from his second. He is now married to Judith, a retired teacher, and lives with her and his dog in Debenham, Suffolk, England. His hobbies, besides the theatre and writing, include researching family history, walking his dog, EyesWrite, holidaying in Greece and motor caravanning.

Gwyn Guy has written a number of other plays besides the Inspector Prickle series of murder mystery plays (go to Latest Productions). He recently finished the last in the Prickle series and has work in progress on a book which is aimed at those who are young at heart and aged from twelve to one hundred and twelve.
